The hike from Aguas Calientes to Hidroeléctrica takes about 3 hours. Leave early enough to be at the parking area before 1:40 PM.
- Bring warm clothes
The road crosses Abra Málaga, over 4,000 m high, where it gets cold, and also runs through warm jungle areas. Dress in layers.
- Arrival downtown
We drop you off at Plaza San Francisco, a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas and most hotels.
